Understanding and managing stress in your daily life will improve your general health, reduce weight, improve digestion problems, increase energy levels, alleviate muscular tension, improve mental clarity, and improve your overall outlook on life.
Stress is not always a bad thing in our lives, it can also be a good thing. Exercise training is a form of stress to the body and is generally good if done correctly but exercising training at the wrong times and incorrectly can produce an excess of negative stress. Also sunlight and positive mental thinking is a positive stress for the body, whereas eating chemically enriched foods and negative thinking are bad stresses.
Managing stresses equilibrium
When our stresses are balanced we are able to cope with any negative stress that comes our way. However should we start to have an excess of negative stress then our ability to cope with the bad stresses in life becomes worse. During negative stress our body releases the hormone cortisol and this hormone if over stimulated leads to the break down of muscle tissue and fatigue of the adrenal glands. Over time adrenal gland fatigue will lead to a breakdown of the immune system and then disease. It is therefore very important that we maintain a good balance by providing the body with plenty of positive stress.
How I can help maintain the balance?
Through a series of questioning and stress tests I can help determine and rebalance the stresses in your life. Often by addressing the largest negative stress in your life many of the smaller stresses will crumble. Also, the introduction of the right diet for your metabolic type, correct functional exercise program and stretching of the correct muscles can introduce a large amount of positive stress back into your life.
